4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. This charger is a big value in a small package.I live in the northeast.Winter time i am unable to ride my harley so i use this to maintain my battery. Now i dont have to remove it. Getting to the battery was harder than installing the quick connect plug. I would recommend this charger to fellow rider's. It is one small compact unit and priced well with-in anyone's budget.Quality, value and reliability. Schumacher in charge of it all.Schumacher SP2 1 Amp Battery Charger/Maintainer

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.I connected up the battery maintainer to my 8N 6 volt tractor and so far, every time I have went to start the tractor the battery has been hot! I was really concerned about the positive ground on the tractor. No problem.Other battery maintainer manufacturers couldn't assure me it would work or how to hook it up.I have one on my 1973 truck that is garaged and infrequently driven. It sat for 10 years with maybe 200 miles per year. No battery problems.
