For use with systems under 50 volts capacity - 250 amps continuous, 360 amps intermittent. 5-1/2 inch diameter, 2-5/8 inch depth. Use two switches for dual engine systems.

8 of 8 people found the following review helpful.So I found out, after I purchased, that these switches are not waterproof. Not a huge problem, except, if you read up on users experiences with them, you'll find out that over the years the spray gets into them. The spray will corode the switch terminals and leave you stranded. I ended up ordering a Blue Sea Systems 9001e. It's not only water proof, but you don't have to put the batteries in parallel on your way to putting the second battery on. If your main battery has a shorted cell, on your way from "1" to "2", you'll cross "ALL". "All" will effectivly put the shorted cell in your main battery across the terminals of your second battery. High current and heat WILL follow. The 9001e doesn't work this way and it's waterproof. Your call.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.This is a bullet proof battery management control unit. Installation is easy and flexible. Also, it is not limited to marine environment use. The unit we installed is on a race car transport trailer that utilizes two marine grade 1000 amp batteries to power the 12 volt lighting and trailer jack systems while the on board generator power or AC adaptors are not in use. The switching options guarantee minum power supply to run all our on demand 12 volt requirements while insuring power by utilizing full shut off position between race events.
