Most also run down the battery on your smart phone while you play your music, whether streaming music or playing songs stored on your device. But the GoMadic FM transmitter not only plays any mobile device with a headphone jack through your car's high-quality stereo system, but it also CHARGES your phone while you play music. Best of all, you can attach any GoMadic phone plug to charge or listen to music through ANY mobile device on the market. If you change phones, you just change plugs on the GoMadic!Before I got this cool GoMadic device, I had to use two charge outlets in my vehicle... one to charge my smart phone and one to run an FM transmitter so I could listen to my own music on the road. Now, I plug this device into one lighter outlet in my car, and it does both. Playing my music doesn't run down the battery on my smart phone, and the sound quality through my SUV's stereo system is amazing.I am a music collector and have over 2,000 songs on my RAZR Maxx HD. The sound through the stereo system of my SUV is simply amazing. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.One of the few products that I bought that I haven't broken yet, charges the phone well enough and the radio station / calls you make transmit very well to vehicles with out good radio reception. I only gave it four stars because the interchangeable phone charger slipped out and got lost, kinda disappointing. But still, if your smart enough to tape it together then you're golden.
